Design Brief
We start by taking a design brief to help us understand your business and also your target market. We will ask you questions about your customers, your brand, the content of the flyer, and also what you are hoping to achieve with the flyer. A good design brief is the key to creating a great first draft design.
At this stage we will also ask you to supply anything to be included within the design. This may be your logo, your desired text, or any images you might like to include. If you do not have any of these items, we may be able to help – just ask your account manager.
First Draft
Using the design brief as a guide, our professional graphic designers will create an initial draft design for your flyer and send it to you as a PDF. We hope to have produced a design that is close to the mark but at this stage, you are welcome to make any changes you wish to the design. If you need any advice on what might, or might not, work within your design changes then just contact your account manager for assistance.
Second Draft
Following your feedback on the initial design, your graphic designer will now make the changes. The aim of this second draft stage is to bring the flyer design as close as possible to the finished item. Once complete, the second draft will be emailed to you to view and add any further changes you would like to make.
Final Layout
Following your feedback on the second draft design, we are now ready to lay out the final design for you to view. This will show you exactly how the final flyer will look and will include all the final text and images. At this stage we will also confirm with you the best options of paper thickness and paper type (gloss or matt).
We will send the final layout design to you with instructions on how to sign-off your work.
Signing-off your Design
Once you have the final layout, you must check it over carefully to make sure everything is correct. This includes the spelling, and also the contact details.
Once you are sure you are happy, you can sign-off your design using our online Print Confirmation form. If there are any final changes to make then these can be added to the Print Confirmation form, or you can contact us to arrange an additional draft.
Print and Delivery
Your order is now ready to go to print. Our standard print time is 6-7 working days, however if you need it faster just tell your account manager and express delivery can usually be arranged. Once printed, your order will be checked and then sent directly to you via courier.
